Visit redfin.com/rentals and enter your search location. You can also click ‘Rent’ at the top of any page on Redfin.com and then enter the location where you are searching for rentals. You will then be able to add additional filters to your search, such as maximum price.
If a rental property is displayed on Redfin.com, does that guarantee it is available?
Many of the rental properties we display have current or upcoming availability. We cannot guarantee the availability of properties displayed on Redfin, as we do not own or manage any of the rental properties listed.
What is the source of rental listings on Redfin.com?
All our rental listings come from the Rent Network, a few local MLSs, and Redfin users uploading their rentals via our Redfin Rental Tool.
How can I keep track of rental properties I like?
On any property, click the heart icon to add it to your Favorites list. You can view all of your favorited properties at redfin.com/myredfin/favorites.
Can a home be both for sale and for rent?
It is possible for a property to be listed both for sale and for rent. If a property is listed for sale in the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS) only the for-sale listing will be displayed on Redfin, even if the property is also listed for rent.
Can Redfin alert me if new rentals that match my criteria are listed?
Yes! You can create a Saved Search and or sign up for Recommended for You rental suggestions on the Notification Settings page.
How can I get more information about a specific rental property?
If you’d like more information about a property, please contact the property manager via the rental property’s page on Redfin.com. Redfin does not have any information other than what you see on the rental property page on Redfin.com.
How can I tour a rental property displayed on Redfin.com?
If you’d like to see a rental property in person, please contact the property manager via the rental property’s page on Redfin.com. Redfin cannot schedule tours of rental properties for you, and our agents cannot take you on tours of rental properties.
Can I see a rental property with a Redfin Agent?
No, you cannot see a rental property with a Redfin Agent. Our agents only offer tours of for-sale properties to customers who are considering purchasing the home.
I’m interested in renting a property I found on Redfin. How can I contact the property manager to move forward?
You can send a property manager a message by clicking the Send Message button on a rental property page on a desktop computer, or by clicking the Contact Property button on a rental property page on a mobile device.
How will I know if a property manager received my request?
After you contact a property manager through Redfin.com and submit your email and/or phone number for the property manager to get back to you, you’ll see a confirmation message telling you that the property manager should be in touch in 2-3 business days. This means that your request has been sent to the property manager.

We’re sorry you’re having trouble getting in touch with the property manager. If it has been more than three business days since you submitted a request to tour a rental property, you can try submitting an additional request through Redfin.com or the Redfin app, or you can try calling the property manager if a phone number is provided on the rental property page. Unfortunately, Redfin cannot contact property managers on your behalf, and we cannot schedule or guarantee tours of rental properties.
