X-outs allow you to mark a home as not a good fit for you.
How do you x-out a home on the website?
If you’re looking to x-out a home, there are a few places you can do this on the website. The first place is on the table view; you’ll see an x-out icon for each home. Clicking on the ‘X’ will mark the house, so you know this one does not meet your criteria.
Second place, you can also x-out a home on the top right-hand of the property page.
How do you x-out a home on the app?
You’ll find this button below the Home Facts section when tapping on an active listing.
What homes are eligible to be x-out?
Only active, pending, or contingent homes are eligible to be x-out. The ability to x-out homes is not available for off-market or sold homes.

How can you view all of the homes you’ve x-out?
When you X-Out a home on Redfin, it will disappear from search results. To view the homes that you have hidden:
- Search for an area that you have marked homes with the X-Out
- Change the view by clicking the Table option and the top of the list of homes.
- Scroll down the page and select the last page of results
- Scroll to the end of the results and you will see all your X-Out homes
