Our unique business model is centered on providing the best home buying and selling services with the lowest cost to our customers. By committing to this promise of savings, we put money back in your pocket when you buy with Redfin.*
How the Redfin Refund works: The seller signs a contract when they list the property. The contract includes an agreement to pay a commission to the buyer's agent. That comes to us when you buy with a Redfin Agent.
When your home purchase closes, the seller gives Redfin that commission money, and we turn around and share part of that money with you.
You can always see what your Redfin Refund will be by looking at the amount next to the agent's photo on a home's listing.
The only exceptions are New Construction homes, which will have a refund but we are unable to calculate and display it given the unique sale process.
*The Redfin Refund is not available in all areas or where prohibited by law. Subject to lender approval and minimum commissions. Learn More
